Harmonic Drift

Harmonic Drift was created during a series of abstract studies where I explored layering, mark making, and trusting the painting to evolve one step at a time.

Before starting these pieces, abstract art felt unpredictable to me. As I worked through each layer, I began to understand that there is a rhythm to the process. Every mark influences the next, even if it eventually disappears beneath another layer.

Many of the textures and colors hidden below the surface can no longer be seen, but they helped shape the final painting. This piece reminds me that growth often happens beneath the surface long before anyone else can see it.
