Still Waters was painted with the desire of speaking to the heart of the hopeful.

A solitary figure rests calmly at the edge of the water, soaking in the beauty of nature. The early golden hour draws out vibrant color and subtly uncovers the peace in which always surrounds her.

The water becomes a place of quiet clarity. Its stillness holds both depth and curiosity, allowing the viewer to decide what the reflection reveals. Is it purification, a calling, servant leadership, LOVE? The surrounding landscape offers softness and shadow, suggesting that calm and weight can exist together.

This painting was created during my studio studies and formal training, as I continue developing my voice in oil through focused school work. While these pieces are finished, signed, and one of one, they are intentionally priced as studio works rather than gallery priced paintings.
